Hey, it’s another day and another blog. So, for today’s entry, I am going to talk about the MCL Cup that happened a few days ago and somehow relate it to the theme of my blog which is

K-pop.

A week before the official start of MCL Cup, there are already boots and merchandise stands, most of them are clothing, accessories, phone cases, and lastly K-pop merchandise. Every time when we passed by and visit the booths K-pop songs always playing, students are buying and looking through the designs and what type of items are available. Seeing their happy expression after buying something is really relatable because I have been there, I know that feeling too. So, the K-pop booth last for like a week and I can say that both students and the seller enjoyed that week.

As the week of MCL Cup began, I did not really get to watched all the activities, but one thing I observed is that the students are playing K-pop songs here and there. Noticing some keychains, pins, bag tags on their belongings with their biases face on, and even dressing up inspired by Korean fashion. I also heard K-pop song on the audio of one of the candidates for cheer dance competition. Also, to mention that our fellow batch mates are also selling stickers and keychains that is K-pop and Korean inspired.

So, observing throughout the week make me realized that K-pop is really everywhere and as it grows bigger, we are also being influenced by it and it is very acknowledged by us Filipinos.

That's all for today!
